[4]National Archives, Researching Asbestos aboard US Naval Vessel up through 1961 [other_primary]
- Locator
- Beginning Research; Specifications and Standards; Ship Plans; Other Records sections
- Finding type
- asbestos_application
- Finding
- The National Archives guide explains how to research asbestos aboard U.S. Navy vessels up through 1961 and identifies ship-specific inspection reports, Bureau of Ships correspondence, and ship engineering drawings (including S39 insulation and lagging and S48 piping) as potential research leads. It expressly cautions that the listed record series do not themselves provide direct evidence of asbestos use or presence aboard a particular ship. No Beaumont-specific record from those series was located in this sweep.

[6]Authenticated CourtListener helper diagnostic, fleet-wide pacing gate [other_primary]
- Locator
- cl-auth-search.py; 2026-10-04 diagnostic: fleet-wide request budget momentarily spent
- Finding type
- historical_record
- Finding
- The required authenticated CourtListener sweep was not completed. The helper reported that the fleet-wide pacing budget was momentarily spent before returning a search result, so the session was stopped under the batch instruction. This is an access gap, not a no-result finding.
