    Finding
Hutchinson was originally designated PG-153, was launched 27 August 1943 by Consolidated Steel Corp. of Los Angeles under a Maritime Commission contract, and was commissioned 3 February 1944 under CDR C. H. Stober, USCG. The page lists two-shaft VTE propulsion, three boilers, and a complement of 190. It records escort and patrol service at Leyte Gulf, submarine-training duty from Fremantle, conversion to a weather ship at Terminal Island in January 1946, U.S. Navy decommissioning on 15 April 1946, subsequent Coast Guard service and decommissioning on 23 September 1946, striking from the Navy List on 29 October 1946, sale to Mexico on 24 November 1947, and scrapping in June 1964 after Mexican service as California.

Ship's crew and shipyard personnel; no exposure population identified
    Limitations
The Coast Guard history supports only the stated vessel-history and specification facts. It does not identify asbestos-containing materials, document an asbestos survey or abatement, or establish exposure for any person.

    Finding
The completed exact-name opinion and docket searches for "USS Hutchinson" returned zero results. The hull-number opinion and docket searches were not completed because the helper's fleet-wide pacing limiter stopped further requests.
