[6]This record’s search ledger (NHHC DANFS, NavSource, NARA, GAO, CourtListener API v4) [other_primary]
- Locator
- Search ledger sl-uss-lst-218-lst218-01 through -08
- Finding type
- historical_record
- Finding
- No qualifying ship-specific asbestos survey, material schedule, abatement record, hazmat disclosure, or asbestos litigation opinion naming LST-218 was located in the public sources reviewed. Authenticated CourtListener opinion searches for “USS LST-218” and “LST-218” returned zero hits. A separate authenticated docket search could not be completed because the mandatory fleet pacing helper reported that the shared request budget was momentarily spent.

- Population
- Publicly indexed hull records
- Limitations
- A public-source search result does not establish absence of asbestos aboard. The two opinion searches returned zero results; docket searches by both exact name and hull number remain uncompleted because the helper stopped further requests. No claim about court merits or litigation absence is made.
