[4]Bounded research negative based on the archived NHHC DANFS and H-Gram 029-1 source copies identified in evidence rows ev-uss-lst-289-lst289-01 and ev-uss-lst-289-lst289-02; neither discusses asbestos. [other_primary]
- Locator
- Archived source copies in evidence rows ev-uss-lst-289-lst289-01 and ev-uss-lst-289-lst289-02; this is a bounded search result, not proof no asbestos record exists.
- Finding type
- asbestos_application
- Finding
- No ship-specific asbestos documentation was located in the NHHC DANFS entry, the NHHC Exercise Tiger history, or the NHHC photograph catalog records reviewed. Asbestos content aboard USS LST-289 remains unknown.

- Limitations
- The sources reviewed were not asbestos surveys or abatement records. This bounded negative finding does not establish absence of asbestos aboard, in any component, or at any later time. Tier 2 is the supplied batch classification and is not derived from these historical sources.
