[2]Dictionary of American Naval Fighting Ships (DANFS), LST-641 [nhhc_danfs]
- Locator
- DANFS entry; complete entry reviewed
- Finding type
- asbestos_application
- Finding
- The reviewed official ship history does not identify asbestos-containing products, an asbestos survey, abatement, or an asbestos exposure aboard LST-641. No ship-specific asbestos documentation was located in the official-source review completed for this record.

- Limitations
- A lack of asbestos mention in DANFS does not prove asbestos was absent. This negative finding is limited to the sources reviewed; CourtListener docket searching was incomplete because the authenticated helper enforced a fleet-wide pacing stand-down. It does not support a conclusion that no asbestos-related case exists.
